U.S. stock futures rose Tuesday, putting the Dow Jones Industrial Average on track to rebound from its lowest level in nearly five months.

     S&P 500 futures rose 16 points, or 0.8%, to 2066. E-mini Dow futures advanced 109 points, or 0.6%, to 17630, and e-mini Nasdaq-100 futures added 26 points, or 0.6%, to 4405.

Changes in stock futures don't always accurately predict moves in the stock market after the opening bell.

"This is a little bit of a snapback from the selloff that we saw yesterday," said Jeremy Zirin, head of investment strategy at UBS Wealth Management Americas.
